CCU Argentina imports and exports beer, and produces, sells, and distributes Heineken beer in Argentina, Paraguay, and Bolivia. The company imports Kunstmann and Blue Moon beer brands into Argentina. It exports beer, primarily under the Schneider, Imperial, and Heineken brands, to several countries. On April 28, 2003, CCU Argentina and Heineken Brouwerijen B.V. signed agreements granting CCU Argentina exclusive rights to produce, sell, and distribute Heineken beer in Argentina, effective June 18, 2003. These agreements were amended and restated on October 12, 2011, effective January 1, 2011, with an initial term of ten years, automatically renewable annually for a new ten-year period. Heineken beer is the second-largest brand by volume in Argentina's premium segment. On November 28, 2012, CICSA and Heineken Brouwerijen B.V. entered into an agreement for exclusive rights to produce, sell, and distribute Heineken beer in Paraguay, with an initial ten-year term, automatically renewable for five-year periods. On July 15, 2015, CICSA, BBO, and Heineken Brouwerijen B.V. signed an agreement for exclusive rights to produce, sell, and distribute Heineken beer in Bolivia, effective January 1, 2015, with an initial ten-year term, automatically renewable for five-year periods. On April 20, 2018, Bebidas del Paraguay S.A. and Heineken Brouwerijen B.V. also engaged in an agreement.
