GlycoMimetics, Inc. is a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing therapies for people with cancer. First, it is developing CR-001, a PD-1 x VEGF bispecific antibody designed to bind both the PD-1 immune checkpoint and Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor. This product has the potential to replace pembrolizumab, marketed as Keytruda®, as a foundational immuno-oncology treatment. A global Phase 1/2 trial of CR-001, known as the ASCEND trial, was initiated in February 2026. Second, the company is building a portfolio of antibody drug conjugates (ADCs). The company intends to combine CR-001 and ADC therapies.
