Biotricity Inc. is a medical technology company specializing in biometric data monitoring solutions. The company provides innovative, remote monitoring solutions to the medical, healthcare, and consumer markets, focusing on diagnostic and post-diagnostic solutions for lifestyle and chronic illnesses. Biotricity addresses the diagnostic side of remote patient monitoring by innovating within existing business models where reimbursement is established. For post-diagnostic markets, it applies medical-grade biometrics to enable consumers to self-manage. Biotricity initially focused on the Mobile Cardiac Outpatient Monitoring ("COM") segment of the ambulatory diagnostic cardiac outpatient market, also providing capabilities for all types of ambulatory cardiac studies. The company developed its Bioflux® COM technology, which includes a monitoring device and software components and received U.S. Food and Drug Administration ("FDA") clearance. Bioflux was made available under limited release on April 6, 2018, with full market release for commercialization occurring in April 2019. The fiscal year ended March 31, 2021, was the first year of expanded commercialization efforts. In 2021, Biotricity launched Bioheart, a direct-to-consumer heart monitor. In 2022, the company launched its Biocore Cardiac Monitoring Device ("Biocore", previously branded as Biotres), a three-lead device for ECG and arrhythmia monitoring intended for lower-risk patients. Late in 2024, Biotricity launched the cellular version of this device, the Biocore Pro.
