BCP Investment Corp

BCP Investment Corporation (BCIC) is an externally managed, non-diversified closed-end investment company regulated as a business development company (BDC). Sierra Crest Investment Management LLC, an affiliate of BC Partners LLP, manages BCIC's business, including sourcing and monitoring investments. BCIC originates, structures, and invests primarily in secured term loans, bonds or notes, and mezzanine debt in privately-held middle market companies. It may also invest in other debt securities such as loans to publicly-traded companies, high-yield bonds, and distressed debt securities. Additionally, BCIC invests in debt and subordinated securities issued by collateralized loan obligation funds (CLO Fund Securities). From time to time, BCIC may invest in equity securities of privately held middle market companies and may receive warrants or options to purchase common stock with debt investments. The investment objective for its Debt Securities Portfolio is to generate current income and, secondarily, capital appreciation from investments in senior secured term loans, mezzanine debt, and selected equity investments in privately-held middle market companies. BCIC defines middle market companies as those with earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of $10.0 million to $50.0 million and/or total debt of $25.0 million to $150.0 million. BCIC primarily invests in first and second lien term loans.
