Acoramidis Shows First-Ever Reversal of Cardiac Disease Progression in ATTR-CM
BBIO sits 57% above its 52-week low of $48.78.
Summary
BridgeBio presented new Phase 3 ATTRibute-CM data at ESC Congress 2026 showing acoramidis (Attruby) is the first therapy to potentially reverse cardiac structural disease progression and functional decline through 42 months based on CMR imaging. In a completer analysis, 54% of acoramidis-treated patients showed clinically meaningful improvement in LV systolic function at Month 30 versus 20% on placebo, and 53% of continuous-acoramidis patients at Month 42. Patients also gained 65 additional days alive and out of hospital by Month 36 versus placebo. Month 54 OLE data in variant ATTR-CM showed all-cause mortality of 30.4% with continuous acoramidis versus 66.7% with placebo-to-acoramidis in the p.Val142Ile subgroup. These data strengthen the differentiation of acoramidis in a competitive ATTR-CM market and support the recently initiated ASCEND-ATTR Phase 3b/4 study. Additional data will be presented at HFSA 2026 in October.
