BANCFIRST CORP

BancFirst Corporation is a financial holding company based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It primarily operates through its wholly-owned subsidiary, BancFirst, an Oklahoma state-chartered bank. The company also conducts operations through its wholly-owned subsidiaries, Pegasus Bank, a Texas state-chartered bank in Dallas, Texas, and Worthington Bank, a Texas state-chartered bank in Arlington, Texas. Prior to its merger with BancFirst in February 2026, American Bank of Oklahoma (ABOK), an Oklahoma state-chartered bank, was also a subsidiary. Additionally, BancFirst Corporation owns 100% of BFC Capital Trust II, 100% of Council Oak Partners LLC (an Oklahoma limited liability company for investing), 100% of BancFirst Insurance Services, Inc. (an independent insurance agency), 100% of BFC-PNC, LLC (an operating subsidiary for real estate), and 80% of Calimesa Town Center, LLC (an operating subsidiary for real estate). The company was incorporated in July 1984 and began operating as a bank holding company in June 1985 after merging with seven Oklahoma bank holding companies. It changed its name to BancFirst Corporation in November 1988 and consolidated its 12 subsidiary banks to form BancFirst on April 1, 1989. Since then, the company has expanded through acquiring over 40 banks, several branch acquisitions, multiple insurance agencies, and de-novo branches. BancFirst currently has 109 banking locations serving 62 communities across Oklahoma. Pegasus Bank has three banking locations in the Dallas Metroplex area, while Worthington Bank has three locations in the Fort Worth Metroplex area, one in Arlington, Texas, and one in Denton, Texas.
