The AZZ Infrastructure Solutions segment ("AIS") represents AZZ's 40% non-controlling interest in the AIS Investment Holdings LLC (the "AVAIL JV"). AIS Investment Holdings LLC focuses on delivering safe and reliable transmission of power from generation sources to end customers, and automated weld overlay solutions for corrosion and erosion mitigation to critical infrastructure in markets worldwide. AZZ's business is cyclical, with seasonal fluctuations affecting volumes, revenue, and earnings.
