Aerospace customers include airframe manufacturers (OEMs) for commercial transport, military, and general aviation markets, suppliers to these OEMs, aircraft operators like airlines, suppliers to aircraft operators, and branches of the U.S. Department of Defense. In 2025, this segment's sales were 75% to the commercial transport market, 15% to the military aircraft market, 9% to the general aviation market, and 1% to other markets. Most sales result from day-to-day or single-year contracts, though multi-year commitments are occasionally received. The Test Systems segment designs, develops, manufactures, and maintains automated test systems for the aerospace and defense, communications, and mass transit industries.
