Artiva Biotherapeutics, Inc. is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing natural killer (NK) cell-based therapies for autoimmune diseases and cancers. The company's product candidates are derived from donor cells (allogeneic), pre-manufactured, and stored frozen for immediate shipment, making them "off-the-shelf." Artiva's lead product candidate is AlloNK (also known as AB-101), an allogeneic, non-genetically modified, cryopreserved NK cell therapy. AlloNK is designed to enhance the antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) effect of monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) to drive B-cell depletion. The company is evaluating AlloNK in three ongoing clinical trials for B-cell driven autoimmune diseases, including a company-sponsored basket trial that includes rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and Sjögren's disease (SjD). Refractory RA is the lead indication for AlloNK development. In November 2025, Artiva reported data from 32 patients with autoimmune disease treated with AlloNK plus anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody (mAb) as of October 1, 2025. This data showed consistent and complete B-cell depletion by Day 13 of treatment in all patients treated with AlloNK + mAb with samples analyzed.
