We are a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing new therapies to treat cancer and extend patients' lives. Our clinical pipeline includes two product candidates: evorpacept, a CD47 blocker, and ALX2004, an epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR)-targeted antibody drug candidate (ADC). Our primary product candidate, evorpacept, is designed to be a foundational therapy for immuno-oncology in patients whose cancer over-expresses CD47. Evorpacept is currently being evaluated in the Phase 2 ASPEN-09-Breast clinical trial in combination with trastuzumab and chemotherapy for patients with metastatic HER2-positive breast cancer. It is also being studied in clinical trials with other targeted anti-cancer antibodies. Cancer cells use CD47, a cell surface protein, as a "don't eat me" signal to avoid being engulfed by macrophages. We are developing evorpacept as a next-generation checkpoint inhibitor with a high affinity for CD47, aiming to avoid the blood-related toxicities seen with other CD47 blocking methods. Our second pipeline candidate, ALX2004, is a new EGFR-targeted antibody-drug conjugate with a distinct mechanism of action, which entered a Phase 1 clinical trial in August 2025.
