Portage Biotech Inc. is a biotechnology company that was originally incorporated in Ontario, Canada, in 1973. On July 5, 2013, the company changed its name to Portage Biotech Inc. and moved its jurisdiction to the British Virgin Islands. The company is a BVI business company with its registered office in Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands. Its U.S. agent, Portage Development Services Inc., is located in Dover, DE. The company's ordinary shares were listed on the Canadian Securities Exchange under the symbol "PBT.U".
