The company operates as the nation's largest all-digital bank and an automotive financing and insurance business. Ally serves customers with deposits, securities brokerage, investment advisory services, and automotive financing and insurance. It also includes a corporate finance business that provides capital for equity sponsors and middle-market companies. Ally is a Delaware corporation. Its primary business lines are Dealer Financial Services, which includes Automotive Finance and Insurance operations, and Corporate Finance. The Corporate and Other segment primarily manages centralized corporate treasury activities, consumer mortgage portfolio, Ally Invest, Ally Lending, and Ally Credit Card. Ally closed the sales of Ally Lending on March 1, 2024, and Ally Credit Card on April 1, 2025. Consumer mortgage originations ceased during the second quarter of 2025, leading to a gradual run-off of the consumer mortgage loan portfolio. Ally Bank's assets and operating results are included within the Automotive Finance, Corporate Finance, and Corporate and Other segments based on its business activities. As of December 31, 2025, Ally Bank had total assets of $184.6 billion and total nonaffiliate deposits of $151.6 billion.
