Albemarle Corporation transforms essential resources into critical ingredients for mobility, energy, connectivity, and health. The company serves end markets such as grid storage, automotive, aerospace, conventional energy, electronics, construction, agriculture and food, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices. As of December 31, 2025, Albemarle served approximately 1,900 customers in approximately 70 countries. Albemarle and its joint ventures operate more than 25 production and research and development facilities globally, along with administrative and sales offices. During 2025, the company managed its operations under three reportable segments: Energy Storage, Specialties, and Ketjen. These segments are organized based on similar markets, customers, economic characteristics, and production processes. On October 25, 2025, Albemarle signed an agreement to divest the controlling ownership interest of Ketjen's Refining Solutions business to ChemCat AcquisitionCo, LLC. The remaining ownership interest will be contributed to ChemCat Holdings, LP, a newly formed limited partnership. The divested and contributed Refining Solutions business is defined as the Ketjen reportable segment, excluding its PCS business and Albemarle's 50% ownership interest in Eurecat S.A.
