Albany operates through two business segments: Machine Clothing and Albany Engineered Composites. The Machine Clothing (MC) segment is the world's leading producer of custom-designed fabrics and high-speed process belts, primarily known as Paper Machine Clothing (PMC), which are critical in manufacturing all grades of paper products. This segment supplies highly engineered consumable permeable and impermeable belts used in the manufacture of paper, paperboard, tissue and towel, and pulp. The MC segment also provides Engineered Fabric (EF) products for nonwovens, fiber cement, and other industrial applications.
