Thunder Power Holdings, Inc. is a technology innovator and prospective manufacturer of premium electric vehicles (EVs). The company has developed several proprietary technologies that form the foundation of its EV family. Prior to June 21, 2024, the company was known as Feutune Light Acquisition Corporation. On October 26, 2023, it entered into a business combination agreement with Thunder Power Holdings Limited, a British Virgin Islands company. This agreement led to Thunder Power merging into Feutune Light Merger Sub, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary, on June 21, 2024, with the subsidiary surviving. At the closing of this business combination, Feutune Light Acquisition Corporation was renamed Thunder Power Holdings, Inc. Thunder Power Hong Kong Ltd. was established on March 21, 2013, as a wholly owned subsidiary to serve as a financial and operational hub, handling fundraising, back-office operations, and bridging operations between China and Europe. As of December 14, 2021, Thunder Power retains one subsidiary, Thunder Power New Energy Vehicle Development Company Limited, which was established on October 19, 2016, in the British Virgin Islands.
