Acorn Energy, Inc. is a Delaware corporation and a holding company that focuses on technology-driven solutions for managing energy infrastructure assets. Through its OmniMetrix, LLC subsidiary, Acorn provides Internet of Things (IoT) applications and services across two reportable segments: Power Generation (PG) and Cathodic Protection (CP). In the Power Generation segment, OmniMetrix offers wireless remote monitoring and control systems and IoT applications for commercial/industrial and residential power generation equipment. In 2025, the company launched the Omni family of products, including the OmniPro commercial monitor and the Omni residential monitor. These products are built on the OCOM, a new proprietary common communications core designed to improve connectivity, reliability, and performance in remote monitoring systems. These new products are replacing the legacy TrueGuard product lines, providing greater flexibility, expandability, and easier installation. OmniMetrix also provides the Smart Annunciator product for commercial customers who need a touchscreen display for visual generator status. In the Cathodic Protection segment, OmniMetrix delivers remote monitoring and control products for cathodic protection systems on gas pipelines, serving gas utilities and pipeline operators. The CP product line includes solutions for remotely monitoring and controlling rectifiers, test stations, and bonds. In 2025, the company introduced the RADex, an OCOM-based expansion of its RAD™ (Remote AC Mitigation Disconnect) product. The RADex adds cathodic protection measurements while maintaining the ability to remotely disconnect/connect AC mitigation tools on solid-state decouplers, which helps reduce expenses and improve employee safety. Both PG and CP activities represented reportable segments during 2025 and 2024.
