The majority of Wolfspeed's products are manufactured at its production facilities located in North Carolina, New York, and Arkansas. The company also uses contract manufacturers, including some with captive lines, for certain products and aspects of product fabrication, assembly, and packaging. Wolfspeed is constructing a new materials manufacturing facility in North Carolina, with the initial phase substantially completed as of late fiscal 2025. The company operates research and development facilities in North Carolina, Arkansas, and New York. Wolfspeed, Inc. was established in 1987 and is headquartered in Durham, North Carolina.
