Nine Mile Hits 7.13% Cu-Eq Over 11.65 m at Wedge, Plus 31.5 m Stringer Zone
VMSXF filed a Product Development and Regulatory on light trading volume (0.1× avg).
Summary
Drill hole WD-26-18 at the Wedge VMS project returned 7.13% Cu-Eq over 11.65 m, including a 6.70 m core at 9.93% Cu-Eq where every sample topped 8.4% Cu-Eq, and a 4.80 m sub-interval at 10.46% Cu-Eq. Silver ran 71-136 g/t and gold 1.16-2.40 g/t inside the massive sulphide lens, with the two precious metals accounting for roughly a third of in-situ value. Above the lens sits 31.50 m of copper stringer mineralization at 0.40% Cu-Eq, which management notes typically occurs near a VMS feeder system. This follows the September 24 release of WD-26-14 (5.09% Cu-Eq over 14.1 m) and extends the mineralized footprint from the earlier WD-24 series holes along the eastern edge of the pattern. For a micro-cap explorer at roughly $0.09 a share, high-grade hits like this are the main driver of value, though assays alone don't yet define tonnage. BHEM surveying is scheduled and follow-up drilling will test the lens along strike and at depth, with a NI 43-101 resource estimate planned via APEX Geoscience 3D modelling.
