Venture Global is a long-term, low-cost provider of U.S. Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) sourced from North American natural gas basins. The company's integrated assets cover the entire LNG supply chain, including LNG production, natural gas transportation, shipping, and regasification. Venture Global converts natural gas to LNG by cooling it to -260°F, which reduces its volume to 1/600th of its original state for efficient transport by LNG tankers to international markets. This process allows for the displacement of more carbon-intensive energy sources like coal and oil. The company utilizes a modular, "design-one, build-many" approach, which enables faster and more cost-efficient construction and rapid deployment of assets compared to traditional LNG projects. Venture Global operates, constructs, and develops multiple LNG export projects in Louisiana. Each project is designed to include an LNG facility and associated pipeline systems to deliver natural gas. The company owns all or a majority interest in each of its LNG projects, providing full managerial control and operational flexibility. This approach also allows for efficient bolt-on expansions at existing sites, leveraging existing plant infrastructure and equipment to reduce per tonne capital costs.
