VanEck BNB ETF

VanEck BNB ETF (VBNB) is an exchange-traded fund that aims to mirror the performance of the price of BNB tokens, minus the operational expenses of the Trust. Launched by VanEck, it is the first U.S. exchange-traded product designed to offer spot exposure to BNB, the native asset of one of the largest blockchain ecosystems. The Trust's shares are physically backed by BNB held in cold storage with a qualified custodian, providing investors with access to the BNB market through a traditional brokerage account. This structure allows investors to gain exposure to BNB without directly holding or transferring the cryptocurrency or acquiring it from an exchange. VBNB values its shares daily based on the MarketVector™ BNB Index, which uses prices from exchanges believed to be the top five BNB trading platforms. While the Trust's objective also includes reflecting rewards from staking a portion of its BNB, it will not engage in staking activities at launch. The ETF does not utilize derivatives like swaps, futures, or options in its investment strategy. BNB is recognized as one of the top cryptocurrencies globally by market capitalization and daily active users, and the BNB Chain is a significant ecosystem for stablecoin and transactional activity.
