Sterling Metals Extends Soo Copper Strike to 2km With 206m Near-Surface Intercept
SAGGF has more than doubled off its 52-week low of $0.224.
Summary
Sterling's first three holes from a new eastern pad, collared about 850m east of the previous MEPS limit, stretch the drilled mineralized footprint at Soo Copper to roughly 2km east-west. The headline hole, SC-26-20, cut 206.2m grading 0.28% CuEq from 49.8m, including 20.0m at 0.98% CuEq, with the strongest copper tied to massive to semi-massive magnetite carrying bornite and covellite. SC-26-19 added 62.4m at 0.29% CuEq with elevated molybdenum, and SC-26-21 returned 59.3m at 0.20% CuEq. The eastern holes show the same mineral assemblage as MEPS with very low pyrite, which supports continuity of one porphyry system, though alteration differs and no porphyry has been logged there yet. For a micro-cap explorer, this is a genuine scale upgrade rather than a routine assay print, and the ground between MEPS and the new pad is still untested. CEO Mathew Wilson hosts a webinar on November 4 to walk through the results and next milestones.
