Under the "Ruger" name, the company offers rifles (single-shot, autoloading, bolt-action, modern sporting), revolvers (single-action, double-action), shotguns (over-under), and pistols (rimfire autoloading, centerfire autoloading). Additionally, the company sells lever-action rifles under the "Marlin" name and bolt-action rifles under the "Glenfield" name. Most firearms are available in various models based on caliber, finish, barrel length, and other features. A rifle is a long gun with spiral grooves in the barrel to stabilize the bullet.
