The company was originally incorporated in Colorado in 1984 as Oravest International, Inc. In November 2016, it changed its name to TimefireVR, Inc. and re-incorporated in Nevada. In May 2019, the company completed a share exchange agreement with Propware, resulting in Propware shareholders acquiring an 83% ownership interest and management control. In connection with this agreement, the company changed its name to Red Cat Holdings, Inc.
