QXO, Inc. is a building products distribution company that transitioned into this sector following the acquisition of Beacon Roofing Supply, Inc. on April 29, 2025. Prior to this acquisition, QXO, formerly known as SilverSun Technologies, Inc. until June 6, 2024, was primarily a technology solutions and professional services company. It provided software applications, consulting, specialized programming, training, and technical support to small and mid-size companies in manufacturing, distribution, and services industries. The acquired entity, now QXO Building Products, has served the building industry for over 95 years. It operates approximately 600 branches across all 50 U.S. states and seven Canadian provinces. QXO Building Products offers a wide range of professional-grade exterior products to over 110,000 residential and non-residential customers. As a result of the Beacon Acquisition, QXO is now the largest publicly-traded distributor of roofing, waterproofing, and complementary building products in North America. The building products distribution industry had approximately $800 billion in annual revenue in 2024.
