NXP200 Delivers 40% ORR and Complete Responses in Recurrent Glioma at ESMO
NVCT has more than doubled off its 52-week low of $5.55.
Summary
Nuvectis presented expanded Phase 1b data at ESMO for NXP200, its in-licensed paradox-breaker BRAF inhibitor, in recurrent or progressive BRAF V600-mutated gliomas. In 27 efficacy-evaluable patients, the high-grade glioma cohort showed a 40.0% overall response rate including 3 complete responses, and the low-grade cohort showed 42.9% including one confirmed CR; 81.5% of all patients had tumor reduction and the disease control rate was 85.2%. Durability looks real: median duration of response was 6.97 months and median overall survival 17.15 months in high-grade glioma, with 12-month survival of 95% and 100% in the high-grade and low-grade cohorts. Safety was manageable, with 14.3% of 28 safety-evaluable patients having a Grade 3 or higher treatment-related adverse event and no treatment-related discontinuations or deaths. This builds on the September CDE Breakthrough Therapy Designation in China and the June worldwide ex-Greater China license from Haisco; management says a U.S. IND for NXP200 remains on track by year-end 2026.
