Liberty Latin America Ltd. is a Bermuda-registered company that provides international fixed, mobile, and subsea telecommunications services. The company's primary operations include C&W, Liberty Communications PR, and LBT CT Communications, S.A. and its subsidiaries, which include Liberty Telecomunicaciones. C&W owns less than 100% of certain consolidated subsidiaries, including C&W Bahamas, C&W Jamaica, and CWP. The company offers residential and business-to-business (B2B) services across Latin America and the Caribbean. These services are provided in over 20 countries through its Liberty Caribbean and C&W Panama segments, in Puerto Rico and USVI through its Liberty Puerto Rico segment, and in Costa Rica through its Liberty Costa Rica segment. Additionally, its Liberty Networks segment provides enterprise services in certain other countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, and wholesale services over its subsea and terrestrial fiber optic cable networks that connect over 30 markets in the region. Liberty Latin America has expanded its footprint through fixed network new build and upgrade projects, mobile coverage expansion, and strategic acquisitions. Over the past three years, the company passed or upgraded approximately 0.8 million additional homes and commercial premises. On November 6, 2023, the company agreed to acquire EchoStar's prepaid business and spectrum assets in Puerto Rico and USVI for an aggregate cash consideration of $256 million, payable in four annual installments, and international roaming credits.
