The Core Components Business segment provides fine ceramic components for semiconductor processing equipment, automotive camera modules, and ceramic packages. It also offers organic packages and boards designed to protect electronic components and ICs, serving semiconductor, industrial machinery, automotive, and information and communication-related markets. This segment further includes optical components, jewelry and applied ceramic related products, and medical devices such as prosthetic joints and dental implants.
The Electronic Components Business segment supplies sensors and control components, along with various electronic components and devices like capacitors, crystal devices, connectors, and power semiconductor devices. These products cater to diverse fields including information and communications, industrial equipment, automotive, and consumer-related markets.
The Solutions Business segment offers cutting tools, pneumatic and power tools for automotive-related, general industrial, and construction markets. It also provides printers for commercial and industrial uses, communication terminals such as mobile phones, and various solution services, ICT solutions, and engineering services. Additionally, this segment includes MFPs, commercial inkjet printers, communication modules, displays, printing devices, smart energy-related products and services, and solution services like document management systems.
KYOCERA CORP was incorporated in 1946 as Kyoto Ceramic Kabushiki Kaisha and changed its name to Kyocera Corporation in 1982. It is headquartered in Kyoto, Japan.
