Lifileucel Plus Keytruda Hits 62.5% Response Rate in Frontline Melanoma
IOVA has more than doubled off its 52-week low of $1.76 on light trading volume (0.1× avg).
Summary
Final Phase 2 Cohort 1A data show one-time lifileucel plus pembrolizumab produced a 62.5% confirmed objective response rate and a 29.2% complete response rate in frontline advanced melanoma, with median overall survival not reached at 50.9 months of follow-up. That is a strong efficacy profile in a setting where roughly half of patients on combination checkpoint therapy do not get lasting benefit. The data support the ongoing TILVANCE-301 Phase 3 trial, which is designed to win approval for lifileucel in the frontline setting and serve as the confirmatory trial for full approval of Amtagvi in previously treated melanoma. Iovance pegs the addressable frontline population at 70,000 patients a year in high-prevalence global markets, so a frontline label would meaningfully expand the market beyond the current commercial base. This comes after the September guidance raise to $410-$420 million for FY2026 and record Q2 revenue of about $99 million. Additional lifileucel data in soft tissue sarcomas are scheduled for a Rapid Oral presentation on October 26, 2026.
At the time of this announcement, IOVA was trading at $13.96 on NASDAQ in the Life Sciences sector, with a market capitalization of approximately $6.3B. The 52-week trading range was $1.76 to $15.37.
