Hudson purchases virgin and reclaimable hydrofluoro-olefin ("HFO") and hydrofluorocarbon ("HFC") refrigerants, along with reclaimable hydrochlorofluorocarbon ("HCFC") and chlorofluorocarbon ("CFC") refrigerants, from both suppliers and customers. The production of virgin CFC refrigerants was prohibited, and the production of virgin HCFC refrigerants was limited, effective January 1, 1996, under the Clean Air Act.
