We are a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercializing seralutinib for treating pulmonary hypertension (PH), including pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) and PH associated with interstitial lung disease (PH-ILD). Our primary goal is to become an industry leader in the PH field. Our team includes industry veterans, scientists, clinicians, and key opinion leaders from biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, as well as academic centers globally. Faheem Hasnain, our Co-Founder, has served as Chief Executive Officer since November 2020 and as Chairman since our inception. He previously served as CEO from inception through July 2018 and Executive Chairman from July 2018 through June 2019. Before co-founding our company, Mr. Hasnain was President, CEO, and a Director of Receptos, Inc. from November 2010 to August 2015, a public company acquired by Celgene Corporation in August 2015. He also served as President, CEO, and a director of Facet Biotech Corporation from December 2008 until its acquisition by Abbott Laboratories in April 2010. Bryan Giraudo, our Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, has experience in biotechnology and medical technology finance, having been a Senior Managing Director at Leerink Partners and a Managing Director at Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated.
