Six Flags Entertainment Corporation

FUN·NYSE·Trade & Services·CIK 0001999001

The Company is North America's largest regional amusement park operator. It operates 26 amusement parks, 15 separately gated water parks, and nine resort properties. Of these 41 amusement and water parks, 37 are in the United States, two are in Mexico, and two are in Canada. The parks are family-oriented, offering recreational facilities, exciting rides, and immersive entertainment in clean environments. The Company earns revenue from admission sales to its amusement and water parks, from food, merchandise, and game purchases both inside and outside the parks, from accommodations and other extra-charge products, and from other sources. It procures rides, attractions, inventory, operating and maintenance supplies, and services from various domestic and international suppliers. The Company's operations are seasonal; in 2025, approximately 70% of annual attendance and revenue occurred during the second and third quarters. A significant portion of revenue is generated from Memorial Day through Labor Day, with the majority concentrated in July and August. Key demographic groups are families and young people aged 12 through 24. Families are drawn by rides, live entertainment, and the wholesome atmosphere, while young guests are attracted by action-packed rides. The Company conducts active advertising campaigns targeting these groups in its major market areas. Its U.S. parks are located in geographically diverse markets and serve each of the top 10 designated market areas, as determined by a Nielsen Company survey of radio markets published in fall 2025. For example, Cedar Point and Cedar Point Shores, developed/acquired in 1870, are located in Sandusky, Ohio, serving the Cleveland (37) and Detroit (14) designated operating areas. Valleyfair, developed/acquired in 1978, is in Shakopee, Minnesota, serving Minneapolis-St.
