Ford Motor Company, incorporated in Delaware in 1919, is a global company based in Dearborn, Michigan, that produces and sells automobiles. The company acquired the business of a Michigan company, also known as Ford Motor Company, which was incorporated in 1903. With about 169,000 employees worldwide, Ford develops and delivers Ford trucks, sport utility vehicles, commercial vans, and cars, as well as Lincoln luxury vehicles. The company also provides connected services, including BlueCruise (ADAS) and security. Ford operates through three customer-centered business segments: Ford Blue, which engineers gas-powered and hybrid vehicles; Ford Model e, which invents electric vehicles ("EVs"), including extended range electric vehicles ("EREVs"), along with embedded software for digital experiences; and Ford Pro, which provides vehicles and services for commercial customers. Additionally, Ford provides financial services through Ford Motor Credit Company LLC ("Ford Credit").
