EyePoint, Inc. is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercializing innovative treatments for serious retinal diseases. The company utilizes its proprietary bioerodible Durasert E™ technology for sustained intraocular drug delivery. EyePoint's primary product candidate is DURAVYU™, an investigational sustained delivery treatment for vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) mediated retinal diseases. DURAVYU™ combines vorolanib, a selective and patent-protected tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI), with the Durasert E™ drug delivery technology. Vorolanib, the active drug in DURAVYU™, acts through intracellular inhibition of all VEGF receptors, platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF), and pro-inflammatory interleukin 6 (IL-6)/JAK1 signaling for at least six months. Vorolanib has also shown neuroprotection in an in-vivo model of retinal detachment. DURAVYU™ is currently in Phase 3 pivotal trials (LUGANO and LUCIA) for wet age-related macular degeneration (wet AMD) and in Phase 3 clinical trials (COMO and CAPRI) for diabetic macular edema (DME). Enrollment in the pivotal Phase 3 clinical trials for wet AMD is complete, with data expected beginning in mid-2026. The first patient was dosed in the Phase 3 DME program in February 2026. Additional pipeline programs include EYP-2301, razuprotafib, a TIE-2 agonist, formulated in Durasert E™ to potentially improve outcomes in serious retinal diseases. The Durasert® drug delivery technology has been safely administered to thousands of patient eyes across four products approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). EyePoint is headquartered in Watertown, Massachusetts, with a commercial manufacturing facility in Northbridge, Massachusetts.
