We are a global life sciences company providing preparedness and response solutions for Public Health Threats (PHTs). Our solutions include a product portfolio, a product development portfolio, and contract development and manufacturing (CDMO) services. We address PHTs in four categories: chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosives (CBRNE); emerging infectious diseases (EID); emerging health crises; and acute, emergency and community care. Our revenues come from selling our products, providing bioservices to external customers, and non-dilutive contract and grant funding for research and development (R&D) projects from third parties. As of December 31, 2025, we have 11 products addressing global public health threats such as smallpox, mpox, anthrax, Ebola, and opioid overdose emergencies. Revenue from these products makes up a substantial portion of our total revenue. Our business is structured around four product and service categories: Commercial products (NARCAN ® Nasal Spray and KLOXXADO ® ), Anthrax - Medical Countermeasures (MCM) Products, Smallpox - MCM products, and Emergent Bioservices (CDMO) (Bioservices). We operate through three segments: our Commercial Product Segment, consisting of NARCAN ® Nasal Spray and KLOXXADO ® (naloxone HCl) Spray; our MCM Products Segment, consisting of Anthrax-MCM products, Smallpox-MCM products, and Other Products; and our Services Segment, consisting of our Bioservices portfolio. We also have a centralized R&D organization. In the U.S. and Canadian markets, our Commercial business primarily sells naloxone products, NARCAN ® (naloxone HCl) Nasal Spray and KLOXXADO ® (nalonxone HCI) Nasal Spray.
