HF Sinclair Q3 Revenue Jumps 50% to $10.86B, Adjusted EPS Nearly Doubles Estimates
DINO has more than doubled off its 52-week low of $45.71.
Summary
HF Sinclair blew past Q3 estimates: revenue of $10.86 billion versus $8.89 billion expected, and adjusted EPS of $11.75 against a $7.65 consensus. Net income was $2.02 billion, or $11.38 per diluted share, as refining margins nearly tripled on higher crack spreads, tight fuel supplies and EPA RINs waivers. Renewables also improved on better RINs prices and higher Producer's Tax Credit benefits, and Lubricants & Specialties gained from sales mix and higher base oil prices. The company returned $572 million to shareholders through dividends and buybacks and declared a $0.525 quarterly dividend payable December 2, 2026. Management expects the Lubricants & Specialties separation to be substantially completed in 2027. This lands alongside the separate announcement that Steve Ledbetter becomes CEO on January 1, 2027, and follows the $1.5 billion buyback authorization from August 26.
At the time of this announcement, DINO was trading at $119.54 on NYSE in the Energy & Transportation sector, with a market capitalization of approximately $20.3B. The 52-week trading range was $45.71 to $129.37. This news item was assessed with positive market sentiment and an importance score of 9 out of 10. Source: Reuters.
