Chilean Cobalt Corp.

COBA·OTC·Energy & Transportation·CIK 0001727255

Chilean Cobalt Corp. is a critical minerals exploration and development company. The company focuses on the La Cobaltera and El Cofre cobalt-copper projects, located in the San Juan District in northern Chile. This area is one of the world's few known primary cobalt districts. Chilean Cobalt owns 100% of 6,377 hectares of unencumbered mining property in the San Juan District (Atacama Region III), a historic mining district with past-producing mines and good infrastructure. The project includes copper oxide and cobalt-copper oxide and sulphide resources, with evidence of gold at depth across several exploration and development targets. Cobalt demand is driven by its use in high-performance metal alloy products for industrial and defense applications, and in lithium-ion batteries for portable electronic devices and electric vehicles. Copper demand is driven by growth in electrification. The company's sole subsidiary, Baltum Mineria SpA ("Baltum"), acquired these 6,377 hectares of fully exploitable mining concessions and is seeking to consolidate additional mining rights in the district. CORFO, the Chilean governmental economic development agency, has identified the San Juan mining district, including La Cobaltera and El Cofre, as likely containing Chile's highest quality cobalt assets. Chile is the world's leading copper-producing country, and the La Cobaltera and El Cofre areas have historically supported established, high-quality copper assets.
