Archer Aviation Inc.

ACHR·NYSE·Manufacturing·CIK 0001824502

Archer is developing technologies and aircraft for advanced aviation. The company is building a platform to deliver advanced aircraft, technologies, and services to customers globally in both commercial and defense sectors. Its electric vertical take-off and landing ("eVTOL") aircraft, Midnight, is designed for air taxi operations worldwide. To prepare for commercial operations, Archer is collaborating with aviation authorities, governments, and strategic partners in key U.S. and international markets to certify Midnight and establish air taxi networks. These planned networks will connect major population and business centers with key transportation hubs in select metropolitan areas through partnerships with airline operators to integrate eVTOL flights into passenger journeys and collaborations with infrastructure partners to develop vertiports. In the U.S., Archer has applied to participate in the eVTOL Integration Pilot Program ("eIPP") and has partnered with cities across California, Florida, Texas, Georgia, and New York on multiple applications to launch initial air taxi operations under the eIPP later this year. As part of its U.S. commercialization strategy, Archer recently acquired control of Hawthorne Municipal Airport ("Hawthorne Airport") near Los Angeles International Airport and Downtown Los Angeles, planning for it to serve as the operational hub for its Los Angeles network and an innovation hub for developing and commercializing next-generation AI-powered aviation technologies. Outside the U.S., through its Launch Edition program, Archer is offering aircraft, technologies, and services to governments and customers to support Midnight's commercialization in select international markets, with the United Arab Emirates ("UAE") as a primary focus. In the UAE, Archer has been working with the General Civil Aviation Authority ("GCAA") over the past year to establish the regulatory pathway for commercial operations. Following hot weather flight testing last year, Archer is on track to deliver additional Midnight aircraft this year for initial passenger operations and is working with strategic partners to build a vertiport network across Abu Dhabi and the country.
